When available in private setupLimited Cloudflare authorization
Cloudflare shows the business exactly what access is requested before approval. The project flow uses that limited access for the verified DNS work, then discards the temporary authorization after the operation.
- No Cloudflare password is shared
- The business can deny or revoke authorization
- Existing email and unrelated DNS records are not silently replaced
- The connection is tied to the correct project and domain
Universal fallbackGuided DNS connection
If the provider is not supported for limited authorization, you receive the exact TXT, CNAME, or A records needed. You can add them yourself, invite limited help, or complete them during a short guided session.
- Current records are documented before changes
- The staging site remains available during setup
- Ownership is verified before production routing
- No registrar password is sent by email or form
