Ordinary visits
The Ash Web & SaaS web server does not set a cookie during an ordinary visit. The public pages, pricing information, portfolio, legal notices, and project form remain available when optional analytics is declined.
Storage controlled by this site
ash-home-intro-v3 is a session-storage display preference. It stores only “full” or “reduced” after you finish or skip the 3.8-second homepage introduction. The animated reveal plays once per tab, rather than on every page. Visiting another page first does not consume it. It contains no identifier, is not sent to a server, and ends with the browser-tab session. The introduction can be skipped. Reduced-motion visitors see a still-logo version, with an optional Play animation control. Choosing animations after that still preview shows the first animated reveal. The introduction pauses while the tab is hidden.
ash-home-motion-v1 stores only “full” or “reduced” after you choose Play animation, Enable animations or Reduce motion on the homepage. It controls the interactive studio presentation in that tab. Enabling animations after a still preview shows the first animated reveal; later toggles do not replay it. This preference is not sent to a server and ends with the browser-tab session. Phones and touch screens keep a natural scrolling layout. Without an explicit choice, your browser motion preference is respected.
ash-analytics-consent is a local-storage preference that remembers whether optional analytics was allowed or declined. It remains in that browser until the visitor changes the choice or clears site storage.
ash-analytics-attribution is session storage used only after analytics is allowed. It can retain strictly formatted campaign source, medium, campaign name, and the landing-page path for the current browser tab so a confirmed enquiry can be attributed without sending form contents to analytics. Query strings and suspicious campaign values are excluded. The record ends with the browser session.
ash-project-note-sent is a strictly necessary session-storage marker set only after the server accepts a project enquiry. Its only value is “yes”; it contains no form answers or other personal information and is not used for analytics. The thank-you page consumes it after showing the confirmed state, and it otherwise ends with the browser-tab session.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads only when a valid Ash Web & SaaS measurement property is configured and the visitor chooses to allow it. The site uses Google’s Basic Consent Mode pattern: analytics and advertising consent default to denied, and the Google tag remains blocked before the visitor allows analytics. Before that choice, this implementation does not send data to Google.
When allowed, Google Analytics may set first-party _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Although Google lists a two-year default, this implementation requests a 90-day expiration and does not refresh the expiration on each page load. Browser limits and Google’s operation can shorten the period. Ash Web & SaaS disables Google signals and advertising-personalization signals in its page configuration and does not intentionally load a retargeting tag. Read Google’s GA4 cookie documentation and Google’s privacy policy.
When optional analytics is allowed, the configured web stream can measure page views, scrolling, outbound links, file interactions, and supported media or form interactions where those features are present. The site also sends a limited generate_lead event after a successful project enquiry. These measurements do not change the rule below: form answers and direct identifiers are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics.
The analytics setup is not used to infer age, create profiles about children, or target advertising to children. Form answers, names, email addresses, project descriptions, URL query strings, and raw referring-page query strings are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics.
Global Privacy Control
If this browser sends an enabled Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as a request to keep optional analytics off. The analytics preference is recorded as not allowed, consented campaign attribution is cleared, available first-party Google Analytics cookies for this domain are removed, and the Google tag is not loaded. While that signal remains enabled, this page will not offer an override that turns optional analytics on.
Changing or withdrawing the choice
Use the button on this page. Choosing not to allow analytics stops further site analytics events, clears the consented session-attribution record, and attempts to remove first-party Google Analytics cookies available to this site. Browser controls can also clear all site data.
Contact and server security records
Submitting the project form sends the information entered to the secure server for validation and transactional delivery. Hosting and security systems may process limited request information such as IP address, request time, page, browser details, and security events. These technical records are not advertising cookies and are handled as described in the Privacy Notice.
No advertising profiles
This site does not intentionally use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral profiles, or data-broker pixels. A later material change would require an updated notice and an appropriate consent choice before the new technology is enabled.
